1. Status of the optical module
      Execute the command
"show interface interface-type interface-number " to view the interface information;
The information output under this command contains the interface rate, module type, module link state (state UP is a prerequisite for the work of the optical module), and some statistical information, which can be used for troubleshooting.
      Explanation: interface-type interface-number is the type and number of the interface where the module is located, you can execute the command
"show interface status" to check the interface type, and then determine the interface number according to the switch panel; if you do not know the interface type and number, you can not use the command. If you do not know the interface type and number, you can not enter them, and the information of all interfaces will be output at this time.

2. Switch identification of modules
      Execute the command
"show inventory" to view the device board information and the identification information of optical modules on all interfaces;
      The information output under this command contains module type, serial number, Cisco original model number, etc., which is derived from the coded data written by the optical module. At the same time, you can use the command
"show idprom interface interface-type interface-number " to view the specific code definition of the optical module.

3. Optical module DDM data
      Execute the command
"show interfaces interface-type interface-number transceiver detail" to view the DDM information of the optical module on the device interface;
      The information output under this command includes real-time data diagnosis and threshold ranges. By focusing on the received optical power, transmitted optical power, temperature value, current value and so on, you can check whether the working status of the optical module on both ends of the device is normal.
