H3C provides the SFP-XG-LX-SM1270-BIDI optical module, which supports 10G Ethernet transmission up to 10 km over single-mode fiber.

1. Product Introduction
        The H3C SFP-XG-LX-SM1270-BIDI optical module supports a link distance of 10 km over standard G.652 single-mode fiber (SMF) at 10G.

  ● BIDI optical modules use different wavelengths for transmit and receive paths, enabling bi‑directional transmission over a single fiber.
  ● BIDI modules must be used in pairs. For example, if SFP-XG-LX-SM1270-BIDI is deployed at one end, SFP-XG-LX-SM1330-BIDI must be used at the opposite end.

2. On‑Board Module Identification
        The SFP-XG-LX-SM1270-BIDI module was installed into an H3C S6850-56HF switch, with a fiber patch cord connected to an SFP-XG-LX-SM1330-BIDI module at the remote end.
        The module established a normal LINK, and the port indicator illuminated correctly.
        The switch successfully recognized complete module information including module type, vendor name, connector type, wavelength, and transmission distance.
        Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) data could be read normally, with all values within the specified threshold range and no alarms present.

3. Key Parameter Performance Test
        a. Optical & Electrical Performance
        Performance testing of the SFP-XG-LX-SM1270-BIDI sample was conducted in a laboratory chamber at a constant temperature of 45°C.
        An H3C SFP-XG-LX-SM1330-BIDI module was used at the remote end.

        Optical eye diagram testing was also performed at 45°C.
