CISCO launched a 25G-SR dual-rate optical module, model number: SFP-10/25G-CSR-S, today to introduce you to the CISCO C9500 switch to view the model of the optical module information method.

CISCO SFP-10/25G-CSR-S optical module is a dual-rate module that can work at both 25G and 10G rates, so it is shown at port rates of 10G and 25G respectively.
1. CISCO SFP-10/25G-CSR-S optical module in CISCO C9500 switch state
If the port rate is set to 10G, enter the command "show interfaces status" to view the information of the switch port where the optical module is inserted, mainly including the link status of the optical module inserted in the port, the working rate and the type of the optical module.
The port rate is set to 25G, enter the command "show interfaces status" to view the information of the switch port where the optical module is inserted, mainly including: the link status of the optical module inserted in the port, the working rate and the type of the optical module.
Note: The CISCO C9500 switch port rate setting commands are as follows:
config terminal (enter configuration mode)
interface TwentyFiveGigE1/0/1 (enter port number TwentyFiveGigE1/0/1)
speed 25000 (Switch port number TwentyFiveGigE1/0/1 rate to 25G)
speed 10000 (Switch port number TwentyFiveGigE1/0/1 rate to 10G)
2. Identification of CISCO SFP-10/25G-CSR-S optical module on CISCO C9500 switch
With the port rate set to 10G, enter the command "show inventory" to view the identification information on the switch port where the optical module is inserted, mainly including the type of optical module inserted in the port, CISCO model number, serial number, etc.
With the port rate set to 25G, enter the command "show inventory" to view the identification information on the switch port where the optical module is inserted, mainly including the type of optical module inserted in the port, CISCO model number, serial number and so on.
3. DOM of CISCO SFP-10/25G-CSR-S Optical Module on CISCO C9500 Switch
With the port rate set to 10G, enter the command "show interfaces transceiver detail" to view the DOM information of the switch port where the optical module is inserted, which mainly includes the DOM real-time values of temperature, voltage, bias current, transmit optical power, receive optical power, and the corresponding DOM values of the optical module. DOM real-time values of the optical module temperature, voltage, bias current, transmit optical power, receive optical power, and the corresponding DOM threshold range.
With the port rate set to 25G, enter the command "show interfaces transceiver detail" to view the DOM information of the switch port where the optical module is inserted, which mainly includes the DOM real-time values of temperature, voltage, bias current, transmit optical power, receive optical power, and the corresponding DOM values of the optical module. DOM real-time values of the optical module temperature, voltage, bias current, transmit optical power, receive optical power, and the corresponding DOM threshold range.
