Unboxing Of Celestica DS2000 Switch

        Moduletek Optoelectronics Lab has procured a Celestica DS2000 switch for compatibility testing of its 10G/25G SFP28 and 40G/100G QSFP28 transceiver product lines. Below is the full unboxing and inspection process.

        The package contains one switch chassis, two external power supply modules, and four back-to-front fan modules.
        Included accessories: rack rails, mounting ears, mounting screws, power cables and serial cables.

        The front panel is equipped with 48×25G SFP28 ports and 8×100G QSFP28 ports.
        The rear panel integrates a serial port, management port, USB port, reset button, AC power connectors and fan slots.

        Connect your PC to the switch serial port via an RJ45-to-DB9 serial cable.
        The default baud rate of the device is 115200.
        Default SONiC system console login credentials:
        • Username: admin
        • Password: YourPaSsWoRd

        Insert a Moduletek 25G LR transceiver into the SFP28 port.
        Run the following command to check interface list and port status:
            show interface status
        Run the following command to verify transceiver information and DOM data:
            show interfaces transceiver eeprom --dom
