Huawei switches perform authentication on inserted optical modules. By default, numerous alarm messages will be generated when a non-original Huawei module is used. Huawei provides dedicated commands to disable alarms triggered by uncertified optical modules on its data center switches.
Taking the Huawei CE6860 switch as an example, the following describes how to suppress alarms for third-party optical modules.
1. Refer to the CloudEngine 6800 Configuration Guide - Device Management on the official Huawei website to check the alarm generation policies for uncertified optical modules at different rates.

2. When a third-party optical module is installed on a Huawei switch, the module can link up normally, but alarm messages for uncertified modules will appear in port logs and module identification information.
3. In system view, run the following command to disable alarms for uncertified optical modules:
transceiver non-certified-alarm disable
4. After the alarm function is disabled, the module will still link up normally, and no uncertified module alarms will be displayed in port logs or module identification information.
5. In system view, run the following command to re-enable alarms for uncertified optical modules:
undo transceiver non-certified-alarm disable
