Moduletek Laboratory has purchased a Maipu NSS3330-30TXF-AC switch, which can be used to test 1G/10G SFP product lines. Below is the detailed unboxing and acceptance process.

The package contains 1 main unit and 1 accessory box. The accessory box includes: 2 power cords, 1 RJ45-to-DB9 serial cable, 1 ground wire, 1 set of mounting screws and rack brackets, and an installation manual.

The front panel is mainly equipped with 24 RJ45 ports, 6 10G SFP ports (supporting 1G and 10G rates), 1 RJ45 serial port, 1 USB port, and 1 DC0 out-of-band management port. The rear panel is mainly equipped with 2 built-in AC power jacks and 2 fan exhaust vents.

Connect the power cords and power on the device.

Connect a PC to the switch via an RJ45-to-DB9 serial cable. The switch has no default username or password. After logging into the console, run the following command to view the device model and system version information:
show version
The SFP ports support 1G and 10G rates. To switch the interface rate, enter the interface configuration mode and run the following command to configure the interface rate:
speed <speed>
Note: <speed> represents the actual available rate. You can enter the following command under the speed prompt to view the list of executable commands:

Connect a Moduletek 10G LR optical transceiver to the switch and run the following command. The switch can correctly identify the transceiver type:
show optical all detail
