Moduletek Limited Laboratory has purchased a CISCO C1200-16T-2G switch that can test the 1G SFP product family, and the following takes you through the unboxing process.

The outer package of the device is printed with the CISCO logo, and in addition to the product information, ID and other labels, there is also a “Name and Content of Toxic and Hazardous Substances or Elements in the Product” label.

The device contains a main unit (built-in power supply), accessories including a package of screws, user's guide, power cord.

The front panel mainly has two 1G SFP ports, 16 1G RJ45 ports, one RJ45 serial port, one Type-C serial port, and one USB-A port for storage and Bluetooth console; the back panel mainly has power access holes.

Access the power cable to power up the device, and start without obvious noise.

Use the RJ45 to DB9 serial cable to connect to the router through the serial port; the default baud rate of the device is 9600, the initial account/password: cisco/cisco, log in to the console, the implementation of the command “show version ”, to view the version of the operating system information.
Use the GE-T electrical interface module of Moduletek Limited (compatible with CISCO GLC-TE) to access the SFP port, and the module type can be recognized normally.
