The Arista SFP-25G-MR-LR is a 25G multi-rate optical transceiver. It supports 10G/25G Ethernet transmission over single-mode fiber with a maximum transmission distance of 10 km. 1. Product Introduction
Complying with the 25GBASE-MR-LR standard, this transceiver is designed for G.652 single-mode fiber (SMF) with a 10 km transmission distance. It supports a commercial operating temperature range of 0~70 ℃, suitable for conventional data center deployment.

2. Host Identification Test
The SFP-25G-MR-LR transceiver was inserted into the Arista DCS-7160-48YC6-F switch for compatibility testing:
• The port links up normally with the indicator light on;
• The switch accurately reads complete transceiver information, including model, manufacturer and serial number;
• DDM/DOM monitoring functions work normally. All monitored values are within the standard threshold without alarms or error prompts.

3. Key Performance Test
With the transceiver shell temperature maintained at 45 ℃, we tested core operating parameters at 10G and 25G rates.

• High-Temperature Eye Diagram Test
Eye diagram tests at 10G and 25G were performed at a shell temperature of 45 ℃. The signal waveform is complete and stable, meeting industrial design specifications.

• Test Conclusion
Test results confirm that the Arista SFP-25G-MR-LR has great compatibility with Arista switches under 10G and 25G dual-rate operation.
Under 45 ℃ high-temperature environment, core indicators including optical power, power consumption, receiving sensitivity and signal eye diagram fully conform to official datasheet values.
