Unboxing of Celestica DS2000 Switch

        Moduletek Optoelectronics Lab has purchased a Celestica DS2000 switch for testing our 10G/25G SFP28 and 40G/100G QSFP28 transceiver product lines. We will walk you through the unboxing and acceptance check below.

        The package includes 1 switch chassis, 2 external power supply modules, 4 back-to-front fan modules, as well as accessories: rack rails, mounting ears, screws, power cables and serial cables.

        The front panel is equipped with 48 25G SFP28 ports and 8 100G QSFP28 ports. The rear panel provides a serial port, management port, USB port, reset button, AC power connectors and fan modules.

        Connect to the switch via the serial port using an RJ45-to-DB9 serial cable. The default baud rate of the device is 115200. The default username and password for the SONiC system console are: admin / YourPaSsWoRd.

        Insert a Moduletek 25G LR optical module into the SFP28 port and run the command show interface status to check the interface list and status.
        Run the command show interfaces transceiver eeprom --dom to verify module identification and DOM information.
