Cisco offers the SFP-25G-ER-I optical module, which supports 40 km 25G Ethernet transmission over single-mode fiber.
        The Moduletek Laboratory conducted performance tests on sampled units of this product, to further verify its specifications and actual on-site application performance.
1. Product Introduction
        The Cisco SFP-25G-ER-I optical module supports a link distance of up to 40 km over standard G.652 single-mode fiber (SMF) at 25G, and operates over the industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).

                    The module requires RS-FEC on the host ports for full reach operation at 25G.This module has an industrial temperature range.

2. Module Identification Test
        The SFP-25G-ER-I module was installed into a Cisco N9K-C93180YC-EX switch with a 10 dB attenuator patch cord.
        The module established a normal LINK, and the port indicator lit up correctly.
        The switch successfully identified complete module information, including module type, vendor name, part number, serial number, transmission rate and link distance.
        Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) data could be read normally, all values were within the specified threshold range, and no alarm or abnormal data loss occurred.

3. Key Parameter Performance Test
        Performance tests of the SFP-25G-ER-I sample were performed in a test chamber at 45°C.
