Cisco offers the SFP-10G-T-X electrical port module, which supports data rates of 100M/1G/10Gbps. Moduletek Laboratory has tested the prototype of this product to help users further understand its actual on-board application effect.
1. Product Overview
        The Cisco SFP-10G-T-X module supports a link length of 30 meters over Cat6A or higher cables at 10Gbps, and 100 meters over Cat5e or higher cables at 100M/1Gbps. The official description and module physical appearance are as follows:
        Cisco SFP-10G-T-X module 
        The Cisco 10GBASE- T module ( Figure 2) offers connectivity options at the following data rates :
        100M/1G/10Gbps. It has the SFP + form factor and an RJ-45 interface so that CAT5e/CAT6A/CAT7 cables can be used to connect to end points with embedded 10GBASE-T ports.
        They are suitable for distances up to 30 meters and offers a cost-effective way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks.

2. On-Board Effect
        Before using the module, it is necessary to configure the module type and auto-negotiation rate in the host interface configuration mode:
        The SFP-10G-T-X module was connected to a Cisco N9K-C93180YC-EX switch using a Cat6A cable, with its opposite end connected to the built-in RJ45 port of a Cisco WS-C3560CX-8XPD-S switch. By adjusting the interface rate of the opposite end, the module could achieve normal LINK at 100M/1G/10Gbps and run services smoothly. The switch could correctly identify module information, such as module type, vendor name, model, serial number, rate, and transmission distance, with no alarm phenomena.

3. Module Key Parameter Test
        The power consumption of the SFP-10G-T-X sample module on the test board is tested under 45°C in the laboratory module enclosure, and the test results are as follows;
