CISCO SFP-10G-T-X electrical port module sample report

CISCO has model SFP-10G-T-X electrical interface module products, support for 100M/1G/10Gbps rate, Moduletek Laboratory of the product samples for testing, to facilitate further understanding of the product's actual machine use effect.

1. Product Description

CISCO SFP-10G-T-X module supports 30M link length in 10G Category 6 and above cables, and 100M/1G Category 5 and above cables. The official description and physical appearance of the module are as follows:

Cisco SFP-10G-T-X module

The Cisco 10GBASE- T module ( Figure 2) offers connectivity options at the following data rates :

100M/1G/10Gbps. It has the SFP + form factor and an RJ-45 interface so that CAT5e/CAT6A/CAT7 cables can be used to connect to end points with embedded 10GBASE-T ports.

They are suitable for distances up to 30 meters and offers a cost-effective way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks.

2. Module on-boarding effect

Before using the module, you need to configure the module type and adaptive rate in the interface configuration mode on the host side:

Connect the SFP-10G-T-X module to the CISCO N9K-C93180YC-EX switch, use Cat6A cable, and connect the built-in RJ45 port of CISCO WS-C3560CX-8XPD-S switch at the opposite end; by modifying the interface rate at the opposite end, the module can be normally LINK at 100M/1G/10G rate and can run through the service. Module information can be recognized by the switch normally, such as module type, vendor name, model, serial number, rate, transmission distance, etc., no alarm phenomenon.

3. Module Key Parameter Test

The power consumption of the SFP-10G-T-X sample module on the test board is tested under 45°C in the laboratory module enclosure, and the test results are as follows;
