FORTISWITCH 124F Switch Unboxing

Fortinet is a U.S.-based network security company founded by Chinese entrepreneurs in 2000 and listed in 2009. It focuses on security products such as firewalls and SD-WAN solutions.

Moduletek Laboratory purchased a FortiSwitch 124F switch to test our 1G/10G SFP module series. Below is a complete unboxing and acceptance overview.

The package includes one switch chassis and one accessory box containing: a 3‑prong AC power cord, an RJ45‑to‑USB‑A console cable, mounting screws & rack brackets, non‑slip rubber pads, and a quick start guide.

The front panel is equipped with 24× RJ45 ports, 4× SFP+ ports (1G/10G dual‑rate support), 1× USB port, and 1× RJ45 console port. The rear panel provides one AC power inlet.
