Marvell QLogic 16G/32G Fibre Channel HBA Test

Marvell QLogic Fibre Channel adapters and controllers are high-performance storage connectivity solutions, supporting FC-NVMe, FCP-SCSI and NVMe protocols, which are suitable for deployment in enterprise data centers.

Moduletek Laboratory has purchased Marvell QLogic 16G/32G Fibre Channel HBAs (Host Bus Adapters), which support full-range testing of 4G/8G/16G/32G rate products. The detailed test and acceptance process is as follows:

• On-Server Identification Test

The QLE2692-SR and QLE2742-SR HBAs were installed on a Dell server, and the server’s recognition status of the HBAs was checked under the CentOS Linux system.

• HBA & Optical Transceiver Matching Test

• For QLE2692-SR HBA: Install the bundled QLogic FTLF8529P4BCV-QM 16G SW optical transceiver, and check the port rate and link status.

• For QLE2742-SR HBA: Install the bundled QLogic FTLF8532P4BCV-QL 32G SW optical transceiver, and check the port rate and link status.
