The HUAWEI eKitEngine AR series router (AR for short) is a new generation of business routing gateway device integrating routing, switching, VPN, and security functions from Huawei Technologies Co.
Moduletek Laboratory purchased a HUAWEI eKitEngine AR5710S-S8T2X router, which can test the 1G/10G SFP product series, and the following takes you through the unboxing and acceptance.

The front panel mainly has four 1G SFP ports, two 10G SFP+ interfaces, eight 1G RJ45 ports (four of which are multiplexed with the SFP ports), two 2.5G RJ45 ports (multiplexed with the SFP+ ports), one USB port, and one RJ45 serial port; the rear panel mainly has power access holes.

Access to the power cord to power up the device, start without obvious noise.

Use the RJ45 to DB9 serial cable to connect to the router through the serial port; the default baud rate of the device is 9600, no initial account/password, log in to the console, execute the command “display version ” to view the device model and system version information.
Use 10G LR optical module of Moduletek to access the SFP+ port, and the module type can be recognized normally.
The 1G/10G optical modules of Moduletek can be well compatible with HUAWEI's related equipment, welcome to buy.
