Moduletek Labs purchased the Broadcom BCM957508-P2100G NIC to conduct compatibility testing for the QSFP56/QSFP28/QSFP+ product family. The following takes you through the test and acceptance process.

The BCM957508-P2100G is a 100G dual-port Ethernet NIC, with interfaces supporting speeds of 100/50/40/25/10G.

Connect the BCM957508-P2100G NIC to a Dell server, then check the NIC information on the CentOS Linux system.
Note: The server must have the corresponding NIC driver installed. The driver can be obtained from the official website: www.broadcom.com/products/ethernet-connectivity/network-adapters/p2100g.
Insert Moduletek’s QSFP28-100G-CWDM4 module into the BCM957508-P2100G NIC, properly connect the fiber patch cords, and check the interface rate and status. The module links up normally at 100G rate, the module type is correctly identified, and DOM data reading functions normally.
