The Juniper JNP-SFPP-10GE-T electrical transceiver module supports 100M/1G/10Gbps auto-negotiation rates. Moduletek Laboratory has performed prototype testing on this module to evaluate its actual performance and application effect.
1. Product Description
The JNP-SFPP-10GE-T module supports a 30 m link distance over Cat5e and above cables at 100M/1G rates, and also supports a 30 m link distance over Cat6e and above cables at 10G rate.

Starting from Junos OS 20.2R1, JNP-SFPP-10GE-T transceiver supports multi-rate 100M/1G/10G auto-negotiation on QFX5100, QFX5110 products. The EX4650-48Y, QFX5120 operates at only two speeds (10 Gbps and 1 Gbps). Prior to Junos OS 20.2R1, it can operate at 10GE rate only. Multi-rate 100M/1G/10G auto-negotiation is not yet supported on QFX10008, QFX10016 and ACX7509. EX4600-40F supports 100M/1G/10G auto-negotiation starting from Junos OS 20.3R1

2. Module On-Board Test
Insert the JNP-SFPP-10GE-T module into a Juniper QFX5100-48S-DC-AFO switch (Junos version: 21.4R3.16). Use a Cat6A cable to connect to the built-in RJ45 port of the peer Cisco WS-C3560CX-8XPD-S switch.
By adjusting the interface speed on the Cisco switch side, the module can establish normal link connectivity at 100M/1G/10G rates with stable service transmission. The switch can correctly identify full module information including type, part number and serial number, with no system alarms.

3. Supported Device Platforms
