How to read the information of optical module in Ruijie switch

When the optical module works on the switch, it is usually necessary to read the internal information of the module to understand its working status, such as the module connection and real-time collection of light, temperature, etc. You can detect the compatibility of the module with the code of the switch by recognizing the module information; how to view the working status of the optical module and the internal information in the process of using it?
The following is an example of how to access RG-S6510-48VS8CQ-X switch with Moduletek QSFP-100G-SR4 module to show how to read the information of the accessed optical module on Ruijie switch.

1. Status of Optical Module
To check the interface status information after execute the command “show interface interface-name status” ; and to view more detailed information including some statistical data about the interface after execute the command “show interface interface-name ” .
The information output by this command includes interface rate, duplex mode, module type, module link status, etc. (Status is up as a prerequisite for the optical module to work).
Explanation: interface-name is the interface number where the module is located, you can execute the command “show interface status” to view, or determine the interface number according to the switch panel; if you do not know the interface number, you can not enter it, and the information of all interfaces will be output at this time.
2. Optical module identification
To view the identification information and digital diagnosis of the optical module on the interface after execute the command “show interface interface-name transceiver” .
The output of this command has two parts, one is module identification information, including module type, wavelength, serial number, transmission distance, etc. The other part is real-time data diagnosis;
The other part of the information is real-time data diagnosis, which can be be followed to know whether the working status of the optical modules on the devices at both ends is normal or not.
