The Ubiquiti ECS-Aggregation Switch is a high-density, high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet aggregation switch designed for large-scale network deployments such as enterprise campus networks. It supports Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (M-LAG) to enhance network reliability, delivers Layer 3 functionality with automatic failover and dynamic routing capabilities, and utilizes Ether Lighting to simplify port management and network configuration.
Moduletek Laboratory acquired a Ubiquiti ECS-Aggregation switch for testing 10G/25G SFP28 and 40G/100G QSFP28 product series. Below, we present the unboxing and inspection process.

This device does not have a console port. It requires the installation of the UniFi Controller (UniFi Network Application). The device data sheet specifies the version requirements for the UniFi Controller. For detailed installation and usage instructions, please refer to the previous article : How to Log In and Manage a Ubiquiti Switch.
Note: The environment for installing the UniFi Controller requires MongoDB and Java. For specific requirements, please refer to the version description corresponding to the UniFi Controller.
